Will my insurance cover my visit?

Currently we are getting credentialed with insurance plans. We will be accepting the following:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO/PPO plans (likely by mid October 2021)
  • Aetna HMO/PPO plans (likely by mid October 2021)
  • United Health Care HMO/PPO plans (Check back in Nov 2021)
  • Cigna HMO/PPO plans (early 2022)
  • Tricare (Check back in Nov 2021)
  • Maryland Medicaid (likely by late 2021)
  • DC Medicaid (likely by late 2021)
  • Virginia Medicaid (likely by late 2021)

If you do not have any of these coverages, we can bill your insurance under your out of network benefits (you may have to pay a slightly higher copay amount for out of network services).

Can I get a same-day appointment?

We always try and keep a few options open, and prioritize patients who have been seen at our office before for same day visits. We cannot guarantee availability on the same day but if you contact us we will make every effort to see you that day.

If you are new to the practice, you may be able to be seen on the same day if there is availability.

Do you offer financing options?

I accept cash, credit cards, online credit card payment, and checks.

Do you do house calls?

We love doing house calls! Within 15 miles of our Metro Center, DC office, I will travel to you for a $30 transportation fee. Please message us if you're out of this area, we may still be able to work with you.

We can also do "work calls" (quick visit with you at the office to resolve an uncomplicated health issue discreetly).

House calls are limited to certain days for certain geographic areas. Not all services or types of visit are available for a house call.

Can I get a group of friends together for a visit someplace?

We have done some amazing things with our unique traveling group visit format!

Want to have a group of friends over for movies and pap smears? We can do that! Want to have a STI testing and "ask a provider" night with some friends? We can do that too!

(Please note all screenings are done one at a time individually in a private area, and then you return to the group).
